Easyou is a reliable partner. After the end of your program, we would very much like to stay in touch and are happy to answer any of your questions about China or the Chinese language.
We offer online Chinese lessons through Skype and other web services before and after your stay with us. We hope these "Q&A" will help you to get to know our school and our program.

What do I need to do first?

Send an email inquiry to Julia Zhou, our school director, at julia@easyou.com.cn or to Jerry Jia, our teaching director at jerry@easyou.com.cn with information about yourself (name, nationality, current Chinese level, preferred study time and your online account: Skype, MSN, Google or Yahoo Talk).
The very first lesson is free and will last 20-30 min, for us to determine your Chinese level and what your needs are.

How many lessons will the beginner level cover?

The Chinese beginner course for is composed of 40 one-on-one Chinese lessons (50 minutes/lesson).
At the end of this program you will be able to conduct and understand simple daily conversations such as self introduction (surname and given names), asking for directions, exchanging money, ordering food, making appointments, making phone calls, go shopping, use simple bargaining techniques, express likes and dislikes, etc.
Our teachers use the first 4-5 lessons to introduce the basic construction of Chinese characters and grammar, which will enable you to learn Chinese faster in the future.

You can finish this program within 6-10 weeks, if you take at least 4 lessons a week.

How can I get books for my online course?

After the demo class we will be able to determine your level and offer you the right learning material from one of our partner bookstores and can be send directly to your location.
If you already studied with us, whether in Beijing, or Shanghai, you will be given a special offer on books!

Does Easyou accept credit cards?

Not yet, but we have bank accounts in Europe and China. You can make your payments to whichever suits you best!
