This course at a beginner level enables students to survive daily life in China by focusing first on the Chinese phonetic system "Pinyin" and then on basic daily conversation such as living, working and traveling in China. This course is a great introduction if you are planning to spend some time in China afterwards, or study Chinese in a foreign country!
We offer several different levels according to your prior knowledge - simply restart were you left off in your last course if you decide to come back!
Upon finishing a four weeks course, students will be able to introduce themselves, take a taxi, order food, bargain on markets and manage basic conversation. In most of the cases, students will also be able to recognise 200-500 Chinese Characters.

Comprehensive class

Course Objectives:
This is comprehensive class of EASYOU Chinese language program. It is the main class designed to motivate students' interest in Chinese language and culture .In this course teachers will help students master the Comprehensive skill of Chinese including listening, spoken, reading, writing, especially grammar.
Commitment:
It is important that you attend each class. Students are expected to preview and review for each class.

Character class

Course Objectives:
This is a character class of EASYOU Chinese language program. It is designed to motivate the students with interest in Chinese characters, at the same time learning some knowledge about Chinese and common characters which are the highest frequency characters in Chinese. Using these characters students can make thousands of the common words.

Commitment:
It is important that you attend each class and practice after class. Remember to keep up with the course work and do not fall behind!

Video class

Course Objectives:
This is a Video class of EASYOU Chinese language program. In this class teachers try to use multimedia teaching to show some real conversations about topics students just learned in comprehensive class at the same time do some exercises. It is designed to training students for listening skill, spoken skill and fast reaction. It will more helpful to students to communicate with Chinese persons in teal situations.

Commitment:
Students should attend each class. It is important that concentrated your mind when watching video and doing exercises.

Comprehensive class, Character class, Video class

GENERAL INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS
Age	From 16
Duration	From 2 weeks and up
Lessons	Each lesson lasts 50 minutes.
Timetable	09.00am - 12.30pm (group courses) 01.30pm - 3.30pm (afternoon private tuition)
Classes	Maximum 6 students
Teachers	Our Chinese teachers all have degrees from well-known Chinese universities and are qualified and experienced in teaching Chinese as a foreign language at all levels.
Minimum stay	2 weeks
Starting dates	any Monday, see special dates for beginner level

Other information

If there is only one student in a group course Easyou reserves the right to convert the course into 12 private tuition lessons per week.

If there is only two students in a group course Easyou reserves the right to convert the course into 15 private tuition lessons per week.

REMEMBER: Our tuition fees include: Course books (only group courses) and a certificate of course completion.
All bookings are subject to an additional RMB400 administration and registration fee.

PLEASE NOTE: Course dates may vary according to availability and public holidays.

Placement Test
All students are encouraged to take a placement test consisting of a written and an oral test. This will assess your level and assign you to a suitable course.

Material
Our textbooks and material is modern and efficient. The books usually come with CDs for self-study after classes.

Quality Control System
We pay great attention to assign the right teachers to our different courses. Our students are asked to take part in a satisfaction survey after completing each course. Our teaching director conducts meetings and assesses each teacher's performance on a regular basis.

Certificate
At the end of course, students will receive an Easyou certificate, which includes the duration, name of the course and a commentary on the students' proficiency level reached.
